1Pricing Structure
Meri Paathshaala operates on a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model. Institutes pay a subscription fee to access the platform. Student fee payments collected through the platform are pass-through transactions on behalf of the institute.
All pricing is displayed transparently before any payment is made. No hidden charges are applied without prior written communication.
2Subscription Plans

What subscription plans typically include:
- Full access to all platform modules (attendance, fees, communication, academics)
- Admin, teacher, student, and parent app access
- Gate app and hostel management module
- Onboarding support and training
- Data backup and security infrastructure
- Regular product updates and new features

3Student Fee Payments
When parents or students pay fees through the Meri Paathshaala platform:
- The fee amount is set entirely by the institute — Meri Paathshaala does not influence or add to it
- Payments are collected via Razorpay and transferred to the institute's registered bank account
- Applicable payment gateway convenience fees (if any) are disclosed at checkout before payment confirmation
- Receipts are auto-generated and sent to the payer immediately upon successful payment
4Additional Charges
The following may attract additional charges over and above the base subscription:
- Add-on modules: Certain advanced features (e.g., AI analytics, bulk SMS) may be available as paid add-ons
- Additional branches: Multi-branch institutes may be charged per additional branch beyond the base plan
- Custom integrations: Custom API or third-party integrations may be quoted separately
- Premium support: Dedicated account management or priority support may be available at additional cost
Any additional charges will be communicated and agreed upon in writing before being applied.
5Payment Gateway Charges
Payments on the Meri Paathshaala platform are processed via Razorpay. Standard payment gateway transaction fees apply as follows:
- Domestic cards, UPI, Net Banking: As per Razorpay's standard rates (typically 2% + GST per transaction)
- International cards: Higher rates apply — shown at checkout
- Gateway charges are borne by the institute or passed to the payer, as configured by the institute admin
🔒 All payments are securely processed by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Meri Paathshaala does not store card or banking details.
6Taxes & GST
All subscription prices are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. Applicable GST at the prevailing rate (currently 18%) will be added to all subscription invoices.
- GST invoices are generated automatically and available for download from your admin dashboard
- Institutes registered for GST may claim input tax credit on subscription payments
- For student fee payments, GST applicability is determined by the institute's own tax status
7Price Changes
Meri Paathshaala reserves the right to revise subscription pricing. In the event of a price change:
- Existing subscribers will receive at least 30 days' written notice via email before any price increase takes effect
- Price changes will not apply to the current active billing period — only to renewals
- Institutes may cancel before the new price takes effect without penalty
8Custom Pricing & Negotiations
We understand that every institute is different. We offer custom pricing for:
- Large institutes or groups with 1,000+ students
- Multi-branch or chain institute groups
- Government or NGO-affiliated educational institutions
- Long-term commitments (2–3 year contracts)
